Two weeks and counting............

Two weeks from today I will be on my way to Dominica. Whew!

It has been a very busy last few weeks and I am now residing in an almost empty house. I only have the bare necessities - a couch, tv, stereo, bed and microwave. As well, I only have the clothes that I will be able to take in my suitcase. It kind of feels like being in Kenya last year - only a few clothes for a month then too. Ah well, it is the beginning of my new adventure.

I am done work now and I am enjoying the time to slow down and get the last few things done. I am also trying to rest a bit - not easy though - too much on my mind still.

Having the moving company in here packing last week was quite an adventure - they were like cyclones and I had to keep running from room to room to make sure they weren't taking the things I had set aside to keep - like shoes. I turned my back for two minutes and they were packed. I had to look through packed boxes to ensure that I found them. It was amazing to watch how fast 4 packers work - they packed the whole house in a day and then loaded the container the following day. It is on its way now and hopefully it will be there around the time I arrive on July 7.

I just want to go now.
